I can't find anybody local. I'm in Palm Beach county Florida. Moved to FL about 4 years ago. Seems more difficult now that I'm in my 50's to meet people. I don't go to bars....

On The Beach, you are certainly blessed if you live on Fort Myers Beach! I've been down to Florida around that area, and it is truly a piece of heaven! I would love to move down to Florida and be within a half hour's drive of any beach on the Gulf. My mom, 95, lives in an assisted home in Sarasota, and my cousin lives right near there. Sadly, my Dad died 3 days after Father's Day. He was 94, and was living with my cousin at the time.

Living around the beautiful crystal, sugar-white sand and long needled pine trees of the Gulf Coast has always been a dream of mine. I hope I can move there soon, but I have to wait for my transplant. All in all, I have my dream, and thank God for giving me strength to live the life he chooses for me.

I just turned 58 on March 2nd :-) I'm IN the club too !!! I moved to Florida when I was 52 and I love it just as much now as I did then.

I've met many fantastic people here,men and women. I've come across some great men on this site.
