Well Korn and Disturbed were on thursday night just gone ... it was a pretty cool Concert with "hurricane Disturbed" in the Mosh first up followed by "Hurricane Korn" ... I wasnt brave enough tho .. lol
Last night was Nickelback ... OMG, amazing concert, and the crowd was awesome ... they LOVED us and put on one hell of a show !!
I rarely get a chance to go to any concerts due to my living in such a rural area. Most concerts were of Little Joe y La Familia, Freddy Fender, and the Mariachi Festival at the Convention Center who had wonderful singers such as: Lucero, Vicente Fernandez, and Pablo Montero.
I go to concerts alot lately, the last one was a few weeks ago. I saw an urban hip hop artist called "Da Truth". The man did one of those spoken word breakdowns well the dj mixed a nice beat behind "truth's" rant.
The last concert I went to was Nikka Costa! Bonus points if you know who she is! She is an absolute powerhouse singer and if you can, go buy her albums! Other great concerts: Lenny Kravitz (AWESOME!!!); Edwin McCain (just added to the love affair); and Keith Urban (he is almost hypnotic).
Thank you, Rockchick. You know I try to set the example that you are never to old to rock and roll...or mosh lol.
Hopely, I will get to do it again when Staind comes by in April.
NADS ! ! ! Let's change jobs for a bit.....of course, that would mean I'd have to get over my fear of friggin' earthquakes. So, what'dya say? You take hurricane season this year and I'll tackle your crowds....
I am seeing Disturned and Korn in April...same concert .. and I am in the stalls...wont be able to Mosh ... I am not into moshing much .. I remember I went into the Mosh Pit for "suicidal Tendancies" ... had 3 glasses of wine on an empty stomach .... hung onto my friend Michaels waiste for DEAR LIFE ...after the 2nd song .... I quietly took myself off to the ladies !! lol and that was when I was only 26 ... so u are a brave one Erica
Last concert I went to was actually Status Quo - took my mum, a lifelong fan, to her first gig.. she loved it!!
Last concert I went to of my choice was Bon Jovi, have also seen Thunder, Bryan Adams, Def Leppard, Meatloaf, Aerosmith (now that was AMAZING), Texas, Del Amitri, A-ha (though in my defense I got dragged to the Del Amitri and A-Ha concerts by friends) :p
My one regret is never seeing Queen live in concert.. that would have been so cool.

I don't go to concerts, but I do work security at them for one of the companies her in SD. The past year I have worked U2, Los Lonely Boys, Robert Plant, The Warped Tour, Rascal Flats, Eminem, Stevie Nicks (back to back to back), Tobey Keith, Metallica, Motley Crue, Van Halen, about 5 different Mexican Frias that have 5-6 different bands each show, Dave Mathews and Kenny Loggins. I am getting older because there is no way I would pay what it costs to go see any of these people and then have to deal with the crowds and the traffic and those stupid security guards who won't let me bring in anything. You should see the looks I got telling the Stevie Nicks fans that studded dog collars were not allowed in. It may be my age, but it seems that the crowds today are much more angry or violent than when I used to go to shows back in the 70's & 80's. Maybe because today they are taking more uppers while we were just smoking stuff.
Small concert this summer, Shawn Mullins. Last Big concert I went to before that Cher's Farewell tour in 98 or 99, san Antonio Tx. Before that the warped tour in Austin Texas, summer of 98? Black eyed Peas were there and I had never heard of them. Blink 182 was there too. Lots of bands.
I saw Stevie Nicks last weekend and she was AMAZING .... she played with the Melbourne symphony orchestra, one of the BEST sounding concerts I have ever heard ... Mysery, I am seeing Nickelback in april, and I have seen LIVE twice, they are awesome, I know Nickelback will be too !
