The first one that comes to mind is Beautiful Liar by Beyonce f. Shakira
I don't see how anyone can hear that song without at least trying to roll like Beyonce! Lol But then again I LOVE dancing... or at least attempting it.. :)

Loved the Communards! Erasure too .... and more currently Scissor Sisters .... is there a theme here .....??
No theme at all, NOT !!!, there was a great movement when "ahem" free spirited people made some real decent dancable pop music back in the 80's.
Great Stuff, and as for the Scissor Sisters, Keep On POPPINNNNNNNNN....
I have to admit, am awfully fond of the 80's myself Music wise that is.
BIG NOD to the lass at started this thread, Turning Japanese.. BRILL
"Atomic Dog" by George Clinton was my jam wa-a-a-a-y back in the day!! But "At Last" by Etta James makes me want to pull my baby close and dance real, real slow.
This song moves my lower half and it's style is before my time, but just those first four words (which also happens to be the title) have me movin all sexy on ya. It's called,"Do I Move You?" By Nina Simone and I always answer YEAAAAH!
I will get up and dance everytime I hear The Gap Band 'You Dropped A Bomb On Me'. Also C+C Music Factory'Gonna Make You Sweat(Everybody Dance Now). You will get your heart pumping dancing to those two songs.
Nah, was just trying to point out I'm not in the mood for dancing right now lol.
But when I am in the mood for dancing, the following get me shaking my derriere:
The Humpty Dance - Digital Underground
Move On Up - Curtis Mayfield
Can I Get A Witness - Marvin Gaye
Feel Like Jumping - Marcia Griffiths
Broadway Jungle - The Maytals
Firestarter - The Prodigy
Something Else - Eddie Cochran
Turn On Your Lovelight - Bobby Bland
Louie Louie - Kingsmen
Humpback - Eldridge Holmes
