most women who are tall indeed feel more comfortable with someone who is as tall as themselves or taller.many women like men who are quite tall so they can stand close to them and look up into their eyes.but alot of tall guys can pick and choose who they want to date for this very psychological trait among many women.and if he is good good looking and in good physical shape he has all the more reasons for alot of women to be attracted to him.but since we all cant have what we want perhaps we should look at ourselves and determine what we have to offer the opposite sex in order to attract a possible mate.it all boils down to having realistic expectations.

I don't understand what the big deal is. As long as he appreciates me and there is some good chemistry between us. I would go out with a shorter man.

When it all comes down to it, it's NOT the outside that counts. It's the personality.

I kinda figure it this way. I'm a big lady and have been over looked so much for that. Why should I over look someone for being short.

This is why I love being 6'1"

I can't speak for other women but my ideal is a guy my own height or taller (I'm 5ft10") but if the personality was right I could cope with him being a little shorter.

I know it's shallow but I wouldn't feel comfortable going out with a guy much shorter than me - can't really give a good explanation, it's just how it feels for me.
