My ideal first date would probably be in a museum or bookstore. It is pretty fascinating to find out what other people are interested in. For example, at first glance no one would guess that I am learning Korean. I like date sites that encourage people to open up and talk.

go for drinks or out for dinner , maybe a nice walk afterwards where we can talk more and see what kind of connection we can make in person.

I´m not the guy who enjoys drinking hard and being up all night partying. Hence, I want to take my date out to a cosy resturant and have a nice quiet dinner together. Or maybe I would take her to a museum because I love art.

Taking a cooking lesson. The tragedy of a failed soufflé brings people together. Cruising some used bookstores and a light dinner afterwards. An afternoon of petting cats and dogs at the local pound. I once spent a great afternoon at a local (nearly empty) art museum that didn't have any major exhibitions going on with an artsy guy. I got to know him a lot better and it wasn't crowded.
