I hope this is fair, but the elaborate dates should wait a bit; my favorite first dates have been the ones that started simply and a natural connection made it blossom. We could have a meal together, then walk around a pretty area shopping or looking at artwork. Any pleasant setting that puts us in a good mood and gives us opportunity to make conversation, get to know some interesting things about each other and laugh a little. That's real life, and I like it when that's enough to create a spark.

First Date should be somewhere that can stimulate conversation...somewhat intimate without being hidden...a dinner at a place that might have a view, lunch at a outdoor cafe, a winery tour, a flea market, active but not so much that you feel compelled to keep up! I admire someone who can and will make the effort to make plans...spontanaity is great when you are getting to know someone, but really not on a First Date!

I would like to take you to a farm where a friend has a stable of shetland ponies. I remember that you were a horse lover. The little equines are so cute and lovable. We spoke of it often and I thought you would be interested...are you still interested?

Walking in Stone Mountain Park in the morning, then breakfast at Waffle house. ( very informal).

Meet for a casual chat and meal, perhaps in St Kilda or Brunswick St, have a walk and chat, maybe another drink, relax, enjoy each other's company and end it with a lovely kiss....
