Question: Have you ever been to a place in your life that you know for certain that you were not living your God given purpose? My career that I am currently in pays the bill but offers no happiness what so ever. It gets to the point at times that I am physically ill because of my job. I get paid pretty well but the working conditions are less than stellar. I understand that I am blessed to have a job. Howver, I want a career. Question: Would you just stay at the job that you are at because it provides for you monetarily or would you go back to school and change careers. Life is too short to live with regrets. I am to a place right now where I need some encouragement. This is not a decision that will only affect me but I have family members depending on my paycheck as well. Howver, I do not know how long I can take it being on this job.

Holla Let me put it simply... If the job you have now makes you sick and is unsatifing...DUMP it !!!Like the other posters have said so elegantly life is too short . I have been where you are at . At my last long term job I was SOOO stressed out, and physcally sick from it. I was having heart burn from stress (most likely Ulcers). I was going through three rolls Lifesavers Peppernimt mints and a roll of Tums a day to try to ease the upset stomach I was constantly having from stress . Afterward I made the changes I had 99% decrease of the physcial stress in my life. Girl tell those that are in your life that you are going to go to school and the reasons why. If they can not support you Move on And tell them to DEAL WITH IT ! In the mean time get your ducks in a row for school and save as much for when you are not working full time .You do not want to in Five years think I Shudda , woulddaa, couldaa . Even if It takes twice as long to get the schooling finished Do It. About five or so Trufreindinme was in the same spot . A menial job with little thanks, now she is in nursing school rapidly acheaveing her goal of becomming a RN. So like Larry the Cable guy say's "GET"ER DONE!!!!""

If i were you i would go back to school or do whatever it is that you need to do to get a job that you can be happy at. Life is to short to be in the wrong job, relationship and etc

Hi, Now i understand the need to pay bills, as I currently dont have a job, I have to depend on my parents to help me out, I don't know what your is or how hard it is. But I can tell you this, life is too short to waste on regrets and what if's, I wasted almost a whole year sad and not doing anything because I could not do what I wanted now I realize that somethimes life changes and you have to change your plans with it. Now it sounds like you are not happy and you don't see your job as a permanent situation or something youu want to be doing in the future, maybe you should think of what you want for the future and decide if you are willing to make the sacrifices nessesary for them like working and going to school for example. Me for example I just started doing some volnuteer work and I am so happy doing it, now this means I have no money for the summer but in about a month I am starting school and that means I have to get a job to pay for the expenses that come with it and quit volunteering. Sorry I gave such a long story maybe it doesn't even help you at all, put i hope you find some of it usefull
