So sad about Patrick Swayze, also (mostly of interest to the Brits I suspect) one of our first TV chefs, the flamboyant and slightly eccentric Keith Floyd has died.

Seems 2009 is becoming the year of losing some very strong characters. Such a shame - the more tv channels we get the more diluted the "personalities" become as we are surrounded with bland reality tv and presenters lacking talent and individuality.
