Ohmygod! Have I ben living under a rock!? Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Posted on May 21, 2010 at 04:16 AM
Since no new Futurama projects were originally in production at the time, the movie Into the Wild Green Yonder was designed to stand as the Futurama series finale. However, Groening had expressed a desire to continue the franchise in some form, including as a theatrical film. In an interview with CNN, Groening said that "we have a great relationship with Comedy Central and we would love to do more episodes for them, but I don't know... We're having discussions and there is some enthusiasm but I can't tell if it's just me." On June 9, 2009, 20th Century Fox announced that Comedy Central had picked up the show for 26 new half-hour episodes that will begin airing in mid-2010. A smaller writing crew will return. It was originally announced that main voice actors West, DiMaggio, and Sagal would return as well, but on July 17, 2009, it was announced that a casting notice was posted to replace the entire cast when 20th Century Fox Television would not meet their salary demands. It was later resolved and the original voice-cast will be in place for the new episodes. Many fans were disheartened to see that the cast was not at the Futurama booth at San Diego Comic-Con International. According to Phil LaMarr (who voiced Hermes on the show), the cast's invitation was retracted by FOX because of a dispute over the salaries. Near the end of a message from Maurice LaMarche that was sent to members of the "Save the Voices of Futurama" group on Facebook, LaMarche announced that the original cast would be returning for the new episodes. The Toronto Star confirmed, announcing on their website that the original cast of Futurama have signed contracts with Fox to return for 26 more episodes. Similarly, an email sent to fans from Cohen and Groening reported that West, Sagal, DiMaggio, LaMarche, MacNeille, Tom, LaMarr, and Herman would all be returning for the revival, set to air in June 2010. Cohen told Newsday in August 2009 that the reported 26-episode order means "it will be up to 26. I can't guarantee it will be 26. But I think there's a pretty good chance it'll be exactly 26. Fox has been a little bit cagey about it, even internally. But nobody's too concerned. We're plunging ahead".Two episodes were in the process of being voice-recorded at that time, with an additional "six scripts ... in the works, ranging in scale from 'it's a crazy idea that someone's grandmother thought of' to 'it's all on paper'. ..."The first episode is tentatively titled 'Rebirth' — and in a surprisingly literal fashion, as things turn out". It will air June 24 at 10pm EST on Comedy Central. Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! *hyperventilates, followed by a nose bleed and then promptly passes out*

I pose a question with this thought. Let's discuss freedom. Posted on May 04, 2010 at 08:00 PM
I say we do not have true freedom on the basis that there are repercussions to our “basic rights and liberties”. For example: I have the freedom to choose whatever religion I want and believe in it whole-heartedly. I can go to mass, church, meetings, powwows, or what ever I want and be with people that believe the same as me. Now if my religion says that I must punch you in the face every time you mention your religion to me, because in my belief yours is false, there are repercussions to my actions. You would have the right to call the cops. I could be put in jail for assault for example. Even though I was only practicing my religious beliefs, using my “freedom of religion”. So with this we are free as long as we understand that there are/can/will be repercussions to our actions. But with that being said does that mean we have no true freedom? Would not true freedom be without reproductions? Then if that is true, freedom could only exist in a “repercussions-less” society, a state of complete chaos. So, I ask you, is total chaos total freedom?

So young, so far to go. Enjoy the ride! Posted on May 02, 2010 at 11:53 PM
My 1yr old nephew is the cutest person ever. But what makes him so cute to me is that he LIVES for making people smile. That IS his job in his young life! He spends all his time making us all smile and laugh. All his energy goes into it. He reminds me of me when I was little. I loved to entertain. Weather it was silly jokes, a play, a magic show, or just a goofy face I loved it. I hope he keeps this enjoyment of making others happy. I hope it doesn't ware thin like his big uncle Mike lol. I pry that life will be good to him and that karma shines on him in all that he does.
Well we finely spoke about it all and I have closure. Posted on Apr 29, 2010 at 01:34 PM
(Note: I changed this entry after a few people told me that my first post was breaching personal privacy and after taking it all in to consideration, I agreed.) Turns out she had been hiding some troubling information from me. Her father (that her and her mom live with) is crazy and not in any good way. Long story short we broke up I think I made the right choice. That makes me sound like a bad guy bailing on a girl when he finds out she has some heavy stuff to deal with... That's not me at all she wont help herself, save herself... She said she wouldn't leave her mother in that environment because she has done so much for her. But by staying with her she is hindering herself and stopping her life from expanding past what it is. In the same conversation she said that she wasn't going to go back to school (something she has been extremely passionate about since I meet her) because she needs to take care of her mom but then she went on to say that she will go back to school when I used her not going as one (of many) examples of how this is effecting her life negatively. She said that she still was very much in love with me and didn't want our relationship to end but after hearing everything I had to say she said that she didn't see how it was possible. I told her that I have been exactly were she was in a bad place and not wanting to get out of it for any number of reasons hat would allow me to stay there. I even asked her to live with me and said that I would help her go back to school, help her send money back home to her mother, and it could save our relationship but most of all help her to get in a place where she is truly capable of helping her family. I that had to happen (or something close to that) or I couldn't be in a relationship out of self preservation. I told her I still loved her and that I will always be her friend no matter what but something had to change... She said no.

Been awhile... Posted on Apr 24, 2010 at 06:30 AM
Well a lot has changed since my last post. It's been, what? 4 years! lol Wow... well I'm single again... actually I have been single for almost a year now. (even though at some points I said I wasn't) She stopped talking to me. Not because she was mad at me. Not because she was falling out of love with me. And not even because she was cheating on me. But because she 'forgot' to talk to me... for over a month... W? T? F? I told her that since we live 1500 mile apart right now (her in NY going to school & me here struggling to find a job) if we don't communicate we literally don't have a relationship. And do you know what she said back? ... Nothing. Yet. That was a week ago. I told her I'm not going to wait any more. I'm 27 (going to be 28 in moth) and I want a relationship with someone who remembers me after they say they want to have a family with me... It's just... I mean I'm just so... confused/frustrated/upset/numb/blank/angry/disappointed/lonely/and, strangely, ready to move on. I guess I have been ready for a while now and didn't really know it. So for now I'll just take a deep breath and keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Man, this "finding a good woman" is hard! lol Posted on Apr 25, 2006 at 07:58 PM
You know it's a lot harder to find an actual good woman. Every woman I meet either: A)Wants to use me for money (which I have none of. :P) B)Get with me just because they know I love THEM and that I would take care of them, even though THEY don't love ME. C)Like to play games with the fat guy. D)Like me enough to talk with me about getting together in a real relationship BUT when the time comes they find any and every accuse to not get together (distance, timing, too busy, whatever! lol) If I?m as important to you as you say I am then take some risk! lol Is there really a good woman out there for me? They seem to be taken by all the assholes...

I had a great day. A fantastic BBQ with family and friends is always welcome. Had a lot of fun too! My uncle brought his motorbike and we all drove it ALL OVER our 6 acres! Lol It was great fun even though I burned my leg on the bike! Lol Going to be pulling A LOT of extra hours in the next few weeks so if I don?t reply back to E-mails, comments, phone calls, text messages, IMs, letters, telegraphs, and/or smoke signals, I?m sorry about it and I?ll get back to you ASAP. Other than that I don?t really have that much to say. My berfday is in 2 months! Lol Outtie 5000 ~Mike
