We have all been conditioned in some way are another to feel that thin is in. That is so not true. We are all diverse and beautiful human being. I hope the ops allow the picture to be shown as I think it's a good one and a step in the right direction.

For me, having a mixed group of people is more realistic than using all stick thin models, all curvaceous or whatever. I think they all look stunning, and it's more inclusive for most women.

Several years ago I worked for a mail order clothing company for a while and they had a plus size range. When the new range came out and we were talked through all the items I spoke up and asked why the range was all modelled on "regular" sized women.

The owner said they tried to find good plus size models and the could find very few, and the ones they found were already working for rival companies. He even asked me if I'd be interested in doing something for them - that's how desperate they were, lol!!! (Not enough make up and air brushing in the world etc etc!)

I think it's improved slightly now, in the UK at least. You see more curvy models in the plus size ranges, but they are probably just a UK 16-18 tops (12-14 in US sizing I think?)

Hollaatyagurl ..... try searching for something like plus size catwalk model or fashion model - it might filter out the "adult" content and get you the sites you're looking for?
